The Loudoun/Douglass High School Alumni Association (LDAA) is accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 school year from March 1, 2024, through April 30, 2024. The scholarship awards will be at least $1000.00 for each awardee. There are additional scholarships listed below with specific applicant requirements in addition to the LDAA general applicant requirements:
Barbara Jean Bush & Damian Lawrence Peterson Memorial Scholarship $11,500
Barbara Jean ”Mousie” Bush and Damian Lawrence Peterson Memorial Scholarship is intended for a graduating high school senior who will attend community college for two years. The awardee will be selected from the pool of 2024 LDAA scholarship applicants. The award will be disbursed over a two- year period. Proof of continued attendance at an accredited community college will be required for the second disbursement. The awardee must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA.
Joseph P. Peterson Memorial Scholarship at least $1000.00 Save
The Captain Joseph P. Peterson Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to an applicant who is majoring in a Math, Science, or Information Technology degree program from a college, university, or community college. The awardee will be selected from the pool of 2024 LDAA scholarship applicants.
