The mission of the Loudoun Douglass High School Alumni Association (LDAA) is to provide financial support, via scholarships, to college students who are descendants of those who attended the Loudoun Training and/or Douglass High School in Leesburg, Virginia. Annually, the LDAA awards scholarships, in the amount of $1,000 each, to qualified recipients to assist with the costs of college tuition, room, board, and fees. In addition, through volunteer time and/or charitable financial donations, the LDAA supports community organizations including but not limited to the Martin Luther King, Jr. “I Have a Dream” Committee, the Salvation Army, Interfaith Relief, Seven Loaves food bank, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Loudoun Branch, the American Red Cross, and others.
